Magnetic Chainring Chain Keeper :

• Compatibility: Designed for integrated external bottom bracket (BB) systems; fits BROMPTON, BIRDY, and other vertical folding bikes.

• Ring Thickness: 2mm

Installation Notes:

• Magnetic pulley must be within 4mm of the chain.

• Ensure it does not touch the chain. Too much distance may cause chain drop.

How It Works:

• When folding, the chain automatically sticks to the pulley, keeping it engaged with the teeth and preventing slippage.

• The chainring naturally prevents chain drop.

• When unfolding the frame, the chain disengages from the magnetic pulley automatically.

• Best used with a magnetic rear derailleur chain keeper for optimal performance.

Magnetic Rear Derailleur Chain Keeper :

• Compatibility: Designed to work with rear derailleurs; fits BROMPTON, BIRDY, and other vertical folding bikes.

• Maximum Compatible Cog: 36T

• Hardware Included: Comes with 2 locking screws and 4 anti-slip washers.

Installation Notes:

• Place the anti-slip washers on the left and right outer sides of the rear derailleur, aligned with the inner sides of the carbon chain keeper to prevent slipping.

• If using M5 nuts for fastening, place the nut on the outside; the screw on the inner side of the derailleur should remain as flush as possible. This prevents contact with the nut when shifting to the largest cog.

• Magnetic pulley must be within 8mm of the chain without touching it. Too much distance may cause chain drop.

How It Works:

• When folding, the chain automatically adheres to the pulley, keeping it engaged with the teeth and preventing slippage.

• The pulley naturally prevents chain drop.

• When unfolding the frame, the chain disengages automatically. Due to the variety of rear derailleurs, adjustments may be needed based on the actual setup.

• When folding for storage, observe the optimal cog combination for best results.

• Best used together with a Magnetic Chainring Chain Keeper for optimal performance.
